Axcelia labs BOARD-level system design Service

At Axcelia labs, we drive the planning, architecture, and integration of all hardware subsystems and interfaces that enable a motherboard to serve as the central backbone of a compute system, optimized for performance, power, cost, and size.

1. Architecture Definition

  • Decide which CPU socket/chipset to support.
  • Define memory type and channels (DDR5, LPDDR, etc.).
  • Plan expansion options (PCIe lanes, M.2, NVMe, GPUs).
  • Choose peripheral support (USB, Ethernet, WiFi, SATA, Thunderbolt).

2. Component Selection

  • Voltage regulators & power delivery circuits (VRMs).
  • Chipset, clock generators, and BIOS/UEFI firmware.

3. Signal Integrity & Layout
